Disability Benefits
Long-Term Disability insurance protects your ability to earn a paycheck. It pays a percentage of your salary if you become unable to work for a long period of time, months or even years. Common long-term disability claims include musculoskeletal disorders, cancer or serious illness and mental health issues.
Midwest Drywall provides all full-time employees working 27.5 hours per week with long-term disability insurance (You may NOT be covered by a collective bargaining agreement that offers health and welfare benefits).
In the event you become disabled from a non-work-related injury or sickness, the disability benefit is provided as a source of income. The benefit is not payable if you are receiving pay from your employer.
